AANI FARM TOUR: To Visit Spirulina Farm


PARTICIPANTS in the AANI Farm Tour will visit the Spirulina farm of Aztec FoodGrowers in Cainta, Rizal in the morning of Sunday, January 18, 2015. After that, they will proceed to the AANI Urban Farm in Antipolo City where they will attend a lecture on the real Ashitaba and other herbal plants.
The Aztec FoodGrowers Corporation, founded by Napoleon ‘Pol’ Puente, is the first commercial producer of Spirulina in the Philippines. It boasts of high-tech facilities that enable them to produce pure, high-grade Aztec Spirulina. As per analysis of a laboratory accredited by the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines, Aztec Spirulina contains as much as 72 percent protein. This is higher than the highest claimed by an Australian company in its website which is 70.20 percent.
By the way, Aztec Spirulina Farm was visited by a group of Taiwanese on January 11, 2015, led by Jaden Tan who owns a big Leisure Farm in the Alishan Mountain.
