AANI FARM TOUR – Visit To 2 Farms in Bulacan

The AANI Farm Tour will visit two farms in Bulacan on Sunday, March 16, 2014. ย One destination is the Aven Nature’s Farm in Baliuag, Bulacan owned by Art and Angie Veneracion.
This is an integrated farm which boasts of farm animals like rabbits, free-range chickens, native pigs, different varieties of fruit trees, culinary and medicinal herbs, aquaculture, vermiculture, vegetables and others.
The other farm to be visited is the goat farm of Ben Rara in Pandi, Bulacan. Besides goat production, he is active in producing organic fertilizer through vermiculture.
Those interested to join the farm tour should contact AANI at (02)-497-2755 or at 0917-795-0916. You may also call Pol Rubia at 0917-847-5071. You can also go to the AANI Store at the AANI Herbal Garden at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.

Hello,
Just came across your website and a story about a visit to farms in Bulacan engaged in vermicomposting. I’m with a small non-profit working with families in a large NHA resettlement project near Batia-Bocaue, Bulacan. Our project is helping over 100 families begin small ‘backyard’ vegetable gardens. We’d like to begin small scale vermicomposting in our demonstration garden on the elementary school grounds. If successful, we’d then encourage the families to do the same.
Can you recommend any vermicomposters in our area that we could visit to get advice?
Thanks for your help.
