AANI will conduct a farm visit to Golden Blooms, a 6-hectare orchid farm in San Rafael, Bulacan on Sunday, February 25, 2018. The farm is operated by Edwin Veneracion who is well known for mass producing orchids purchased mostly by bulk buyers who distribute them to various outlets in Metro Manila and in the provinces.

Edwin is a forestry graduate who has devoted his full time to orchid production. He produces high quality orchids which he sells at much lower prices than most other growers.

Dory Fadriquela of Allied Botanical who supplies special fertilizers to the farm will discuss valuable pointers in proper fertilization. Of course, Edwin will also give tips on successful orchid production.
