Abiu Seedlings Ready For Planting Available At The Sarian Farm

Very soon the rains will come and it will be the right time to plant your fruit tree seedlings. Just like the Abiu seedlings from the Sarian Farm in Teresa, Rizal, shown here with Maridi Bolong, a young lady lawyer.

Together with Balikbayan relatives, Vince and Tessie Frias of Los Angeles, California, they visited the Sarian Farm. Then they proceeded to the Costales Nature Farms in Majayjay, Laguna, May 18, 2014.

Abiu is an exotic fruit from Brazil which tastes somewhat like caimito. It has been proven to be adapted to Philippine growing conditions. It bears fruits at least twice a year. Four-year-old trees will usually start bearing for as long as they are well fertilized and given ample space and sunshine. Abiu can also be grown in containers.
