The AANI Agri-Bazaar cum Agri-Kapihan will be held on April 21-23 at the Planas Gardens, Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City. The venue of the event has been transferred to the new site because of the construction going on at the old site. The new site is in front of Coconut House, not far from the old site.
As usual, the commercial stalls will feature various agricultural products, both fresh from the farms as well as processed ones. A total of 20 booths has been taken by the Department of Agriculture for the display of products from Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) and Region 9.
There will also be lectures and demonstrations during the three-day event. On April 21, the lecturers will be the following: Raffy Barrozo will talk on coconut-based integrated farming with coffee and cacao; Wellness by Jojo Revilla; Different agribusiness opportunities by Danny Ricohermoso; and mushroom production by Thelma Venoya.
On Saturday, April 22: Spirulina growing and its health benefits by Dr. Kathrina Panlilio; Coconut processing by Jun Castillo; Hatake Bio-organic fertilizer and bio-pesticides by Randy Jugado; MicroBiome Technology for the swine industry by Willie Lim and Ma. Melissa Santos Lim
On Sunday, April 23: Mango production by Antonio Rola; Rabbit production by Art Veneracion; Goat raising by Ben Rara; and Container Gardening by Dr. Ed Paningbatan.
The Agri-Bazaar and lectures are open free to the public.
