The monthly Agriculture Magazine published by Manila Bulletin and edited by your blogger, Zac B. Sarian, is now distributed by the award-winning organic farm, Costales Nature Farms in Majayjay, Laguna.
The farm is visited by thousands of visitors every month to observe the operation of the organic farm or to participate in seminars and workshops covering such topics as organic pig production, integrated organic farming, organic fertilizer production and others.
The visitors come from practically every part of the country, from the far north in the Ilocos down to the south like Davao, Zamboanga and other parts of Mindanao.
Agriculture Magazine is distributed nationwide through bookstores and outlets of Manila Bulletin nationwide. It is the most widely circulated agriculture publication in the Philippines. It can also be acquired through subscription.
By the way, the July 2016 issue is now being printed (June 9, 2016) and should be off the press in a few days. The issue contains articles on native pigs, three new pure lines of the Philippine mallard (itik), a huge radish from Korea that thrives in the highland farms in Benguet, the smart gardeners of Las Piñas who defied the long drought in summer, the OJTs at the Costales farm, how a smart farmer in Mindanao outsmarted El Niño and other stories.
