APPLE MAKOPA: Fleshy and Crunchy
One makopa that you will love to eat is the maroon Apple Makopa which originally came from Malaysia. Unlike the native variety, it is fleshy, crunchy and sweet.

This variety grows well under local conditions. It can be grown in the ground as well as in containers such as the rubberized kind. It will grow well and bear fruit in the medium as well as in the large rubberized container. The fruit tree is usually propagated by marcotting. Marcots will usually bear in a couple of years after planting for as long as it is regularly fertilized.

Marcots are available at the Sarian Farm in Teresa, Rizal. Those interested to plant can contact us here at SARIAN FARM.
