AZTEC SPIRULINA, the country’s most modern spirulina farm, will conduct its monthly open farm visit and orientation on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016. The farm in Cainta, Rizal is very accessible by private car or by public transport. Because of limited seats, interested attendees should register by calling (02) 477-2256.

Aztec Spirulina Farm boasts of the most modern facilities for growing and processing spirulina which is considered the most complete food in the world. Aztec spirulina has been analyzed to contain 72 percent protein, higher than those claimed from Australia and elsewhere.

Visitors will be able to see the very hygienic production and processing facilities of the company. During the orientation which is from 9 to 12 noon, the resource persons will discuss the health benefits from spirulina. Aztec
Spirulina products come in capsule as well as in granule forms. A five-in-one coffee contains spirulina, mangosteen extracts, cream, sugar and coffee. A spirulina whitening soap is also being developed.

Aztec Spirulina Farm was established by Eng. Napoleon ‘Pol’ Puente who used to be in the construction business. Due to stress in the construction industry, he experienced some health problems. Through a relative who was based in South America, he discovered the health benefits from spirulina. That drove him to conduct his own research that finally enabled him to put the country’s most modern spirulina farm and processing facilities.
