Batangas Farmers Finish Veggies Training

The 49thbatch of participants in SMโs Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Farmers Training Program in Batangas recently finished their training as the country celebrated Farmers and Fisherfolk Month.
The training program which started in 2007 has already trained 5,421 farmers on high-value crop production who are now enjoying higher incomes from farming. Some of the farmer beneficiaries are shown in photo during the harvest festival displaying their produce at Casa Blanca, Pallocan West, Batangas City. Joining them are Ms. Cristie S. Angeles of SM Foundation, Toto Barcelona of Harbest Agribusiness, Mina Buenaflor of SM City Batangas and Estelita Lacsamana of Batangas City Agriculture Office.
