A LIQUID plant growth promoter called Better Harvest was featured during the 17th National Mango Congress held at the Grand Convention Center in Cebu City on October 27-28. 2015.

Charlie Meridores, president of AP+LB Agritech Development, Inc. was there to personally explain to attendees the merits of his organic foliar plant growth enhancer.

For mango, it is sprayed on the leaves after fruit set (45 days after flower induction, DAFI).The mango leaves should be thoroughly covered with the fine mist spray. Spraying should be repeated 3 to 4 times every 10 – 15 days after the first spraying. In other words, the second spraying should be 60 DAFI, 3rd at 75 DAFI and 4th at 90 DAFI.. Charlie suggests that spraying should be made early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

BETTER HARVEST is intended as supplement to regular fertilization in the soil. With Better Harvest, there is better fruit set and fruit drop is avoided. The fruits become bigger and sweeter when ripe. The ripe fruits also have longer shelf life, according Charlie.
