East-West Seed will inaugurate its booth for Farm-Ready-Seedlings at the SM Clark in Pampanga on April 13, 2019. It is a strategic move that the seed company is taking to enable even non-traditional farmers do their own gardening in their homes, according to Ric Reyes, company consultant on Marketing & Strategy. Reyes said that aside from seedlings, fruiting vegetables and flowering ornamental plants will be available for customers to purchase. Among the ready-to-plant seedlings are different varieties of peppers (both sweet and hot), tomatoes, eggplant, pumpkin, gourd, patola, ampalaya, cucumber, dwarf papaya varieties, sweet corn and others.
