Farm Ready Concept Store Launched In SM City Clark

The East-West Seedโs Farm Ready Concept Store was launched at the SM City Clark on April 13, 2019 led by Henk Hermans, general manager of East West Seed Philippines. He was assisted by Jacob Baas, Farm Ready GG Seedling Corporation business manager, and Ric M. Reyes, the companyโs Marketing & Strategy consultant. Also present were representatives of the Philippine Horticultural Society.
The opening was also attended by farmers, garden enthusiasts, mallgoers and members of media. Featured products at the store are Ready to Plant, Ready to Grow, Ready to Harvest, Flower Ready, Go grow Vegetable Seeds, Herbs and BOSS Soil media.

Grafted ampalaya seedlings are also available at the Farm Ready Store.
Among the first customers of the Farm Ready Concept Store were Catherine de Leon and her son XY who bought a potted ready to harvest hot finger pepper. According to Ms. De Leon, her son XY likes to indulge in gardening and begged his mother to buy some seedlings so they can start growing vegetables at home.

A free mini workshop on home gardening was conducted immediately after the opening. Melani Cruz and Judy Ann Niduaza conducted the โSack Gardening Workshopโ which was participated in by Ralph Hermans. Free mini workshops will be conducted at the Farm Ready Concept Store every Saturday at 5 pm starting April 27.

Aside from vegetables, the store offers various flowering plants, including balinia, vinca, dianthus and petunia. Culinary herbs like rosemary, basil and lavender are also available at the store.
