FOOD & AGRIBIZ CONFAB: Bright Spots & Opportunities, July 13, 2017

The Mid-Year Food and Agribusiness Conference will be held on July 13, 2017, 1 to 6 p.m., at the PLDT Hall of the APEC Bldg. of the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City.

Dr. Rolando Dy will talk on Agriculture Scenarios in 2016-2017. He is the executive director of the Center for Food and Agri Business of UA&P.

The Rice Industry will be tackled by Jason Laureano Aquino, administrator of the National Food Authority. On the other hand, Yvonne Agustin will take up the Coconut Industry. She is executive director of United Coconut Association of the Philippines.

The broiler industry will be tackled by Elias Jose Inciong, president of the United Broiler Raisers Association while Dr. Felix Tiukinhoy will discuss the Processed Meat and Fish Sector. He is president of the Philippine Association of Meat Processors, Inc. Sen. Cynthia Villar, head of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, will discuss Government Support for Philippine Food and Agriculture.

A conference fee of P3,500 will be charged. This includes conference materials and snacks. But if you are a subscriber of Food and Agri-Business Monitor, a publication of UA&P, you pay only P3,200.
