Greg claims that his drip irrigation system is more economical than the imported kind. One reason is that he has his own upgraded fabrication facilities that enable him to produce economically durable plastic hoses using virgin plastic materials. The Bureau of Agricultural Research of the Department of Agriculture has given him a grant of P500,000 to upgrade his fabrication facilities.
Drip irrigation enables planters to economize on water for watering their plants. It also saves on labor because all one has to do is open the faucet leading to the water-distributing system and presto! The plants are watered drop by drop. Fertilizer can also included in the irrigation water.
One of Greg’s latest customers is a planter of black pepper from Sorsogon who has 4,000 sq. m. hills.Other customers are mango planters, vegetable farms, papaya growers and even hobby gardeners. You can contact Greg at 0920-522-3761.
