Here are some of the interesting Food Industry People we met at the Media Preview of the forthcoming International Food Expo (IFEX) that will be held on May 19-21 at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) under the auspices of CITEM of the Department of Trade and Industry.
Yolly Yanos and Bernard Pae pose at the exhibit booth of Agri Nurture, a company that exports canned Buko juice and other fresh farm produce. Foreign markets include Canada, United States, Europe, Middle East and others. The farm produce include Saba banana, sweet potato, mango, banana leaves, malunggay and even lemon grass and others. Ms. Yanos is the Export Account Officer of the company while Mr. Pae is the Export Manager.

This is the exhibit booth of Malagos, the company from Davao City which specializes in processed cacao products and goat cheese. The firm is owned by the Puentespina family headed by Roberto and Charita Puentespina. The cacao products are also exported.

This is Ericka Rafael of Green Leaves which produces a wide variety of ready-to-cook mixes of native delicacies like the package of Kutsinta that she is holding. Products include flavorings, instant mixes, food coloring,seasonings, baking ingredients and more.[/caption
