Isabela Machinery Fabricators Offer Help To DA Secretary

Local fabricators and assemblers of farm implements can contribute a lot to the improvement of productivity and profit in rice and corn production. And in livestock production too.
This was emphasized by the officials of the Central Isabela Agri Manufacturing Corp. (CIAMC) in a recent meeting with Agricuture Sec. William D. Dar in his office at Land Bank in Makati City. The CIAMC officials that included Robert Tomas, Jervin Sioco, Edwin Mabborang and Nhesreen Raza was headed by Eugene Gabriel, president.
Gabriel informed the DA Secretary that CIAMC can help in the mechanization of rice and corn as well as livestock production. The company has been fabricating and assembling farm implements like subsoilers, rotavators, choppers, land levelers, cage rollers needed in land preparation for rice, dryers, small rice mill and others.
In livestock production, CIAMC manufactures choppers or shredders that can be used in making silage for livestock feed. Silage will enable backyard cattle raisers to raise several cows instead of just one or two. Thatโs because silage which is fermented forage can be fed to the animals during the summer months when green grass is not available.
