LADY TRAVEL AGENT: A Serious Aspiring Farmer

These days, more and more professionals who are in business are getting interested in farming. And that include ladies. One of them is Mary Ann Roque, manager of Air Jet travel agency. She recently bought a two-hectare farm in Altura Matanda in Tanauan City in Batangas. One of her first crops is dragon fruit. But she is looking for more ideas that she could adopt in her farming. And that’s why she attended the Atisco Harvest Festival on Nov. 30, 2017 in Tanauan.

She toured the Atisco Farm where the seed companies showcased their best-selling varieties like the D-Max tomato, new varieties of watermelon, eggplant and pepper of East-West Seed; the upo, ampalaya and tomato varieties of Bayer; the purple corn, ampalaya and other hybrids of Allied Botanical Corporation.
We met Mary Ann touring the field with other visitors like Julieta Bariuan and her father Federico from Tuguegarao City, and Chona Magtibay from Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
