Latexless Jackfruit From Thailand Is Very Prolific

A THAI variety of latexless jackfruit is very prolific and starts fruiting at an early age, says Dr. Pablito Pamplona who introduced the same some years back. The fruits are formed profusely just above the ground, starting four years after planting.
Earlier, the latexless jackfruit from Malaysia was originally popularized by the Sarian Farm in Teresa, Rizal. It is also early-bearing and its orange flesh is thick and sweet.
Seeds of the Thai latexless jackfruit are now being germinated at the Sarian Farm. They should be ready for planting by December or even earlier.
