VALERIE PUENTE and Patricia Puente Suanino conducted a lecture and video presentation on Aztec Spirulina at the monthly AANI  Agri-Bazaar cum Agri-Kapihan  at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City on April 18, 2015. They discussed the many health benefits that can be derived from spirulina.

The three-day affair, April 17-19, is where agri-entrepreneurs showcase their products and services that include fresh farm produce, wellness products and food supplements, planting materials of fruit trees, vegetables and many more.

Spirulina is considered the most complete food in the world with protein content as high as 72 percent. This food product is now produced and processed in Cainta, Rizal under modern and very hygienic facilities. It was put up a few years ago by Engr. Napoleon ‘Pol’ Puente and his family.

Aztec Spirulina is now available in the market in the form of granules as well as capsules. Two other spirulina products include a facial preparation and a 5-in-one coffee with mangosteen and spirulina.

The Aztec Spirulina farm is open to free tours once a month. One, however, has to register for coming schedules because each group is limited to 20 to 30 persons. The next free tour is scheduled on April 26, 2015 but you have to find out if there is still available slot. Call Patricia Suanino at 0917-837-5280 for that. Visitors will see for themselves the growing facilities for the blue-green algae or spirulina.
