LOOK! Meyer Lemon Is Ever-Bearing!

Today, April 8, 2020 we counted 22 young fruits while two more mature fruits are still on the small tree. Meyer Lemon is ever-bearing!

Remember the Meyer Lemon we posted earlier in this blog? It is about a Meyer Lemon in a medium-size rubberized container that a diplomat entrusted to us in early July, 2019 and which we kept in our house in Taytay, Rizal because there is plenty of space there.

Shortly after it was left with us, the plant produced a lot of flowers that resulted in 21 very nice fruits. On January 1, 2020 my daughter started harvesting one fruit at a time which she made into juice drink. She likes the nice flavor.

Today, April 8, 2020, there are still two mature fruits that we have not harvested. And to our pleasant surprise, we have counted 22 young fruits that must be more than one month old.

The Meyer Lemon is ever-bearing! We will propagate a lot more.

The Meyer Lemon is very juicy. The fruit is either seedless as in photo or with just one seed.
