MARIMAX F1: New Plum Type Tomato Hybrid

EAST-WEST SEED has come up with a new plum type tomato that is an improvement of Marimar, a variety that was a favorite of farmers several years back. TGhe New hybrid called Marimax F1 is well adapted to Nueva Vizcaya, parts of Benguet, Zamboanga and Cebu.
Compared to Marimar, Marimax has a better resistance to bacterial wilt and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV), two of the most destructive diseases of tomato and other solanaceous plants.
The fruit weighs an average of 60 to 70 grams, thick fleshed and juicy. It matures in 60 to 65 days from transplanting.

Sarian Farm is in Teresa, Rizal. Along Sumulong Road, km 36.6. It is in the end of town, about 30 meters before Teres-Morong Boundary, right side. Teresa is next town to Antipolo.
