You will see lush growth of kangkong, alugbati, pechay, mustard,  gyneura, oregano, lettuce and even viny vegetables like ampalaya and patani. The wall gardens are neatly and artistically arranged. They are also equipped with drippers for convenient watering and fertilizing.

At the back of the school  is what Carlos calls his tower garden consisting of plants grown on upright planters with stakes for the plants to cling on. You may see kangkong and alugbati growing together in one container.

Of course, the garden is a means of opening the eyes of the students and teachers alike on the possibility of growing their own wall gardens in their own homes where space for gardening is usually limited. Residents in the community can also pick up useful ideas which they can adopt in their own yards, front and back.

You can contact Carlos Alexander Rigon at 0932-850-7516.
