Judging from the number of people inquiring about Indigofera zollingeriana, it is about time someone should produce the seeds for sale to those who want to grow it for feeding their goats and other livestock
People say they have read about the forage tree in our blog and in our write ups in the print media but they are disappointed because they don’t know where to secure the seeds for planting.
The Indigofera, of course, is a ssmall forage tree that contains high protein which is good for farm animals. it is better than ipil-ipil because it does not contain mimosine which is not good, especially for breeding pigs.
When allowed to grow into a big size, the Indigofera tree will produce a lot of seeds which could be harvested, dried and properly stored. The seeds readily germinate.
We are sure, there must be some people out there who have Indigofera in their farms but they have not considered producing seeds as a money-making venture. It is about time, they do.
