The farm is intensifying organic egg production because of increasing demand from a regular distributor in Metro Manila.
In a few more months, their layers could be grass-fed organic layers. Her husband, Ronald, has just started planting the Super Napier which is a highly nutritious grass that is relished by farm animals, including chickens.
Ronald is also readying his Super Napier for feeding his organic pigs. Super Napier can be fed to the animals freshly shredded. Or it could be made into silage through fermentation. Fermented feeds are more easily assimilated by the animals.
hi there, Im so interested to turn my poultry into organic. I just have no idea how. After reading this article, I think I have the opportunity to do it using this so-called super napier. Can you please give me information regarding this grass?
