Three busloads of agricultural personnel from the province of Pangasinan, numbering about 150, visited the Sarian Farm of exotic fruit trees in Teresa, Rizal on December 21, 2013.

The farm tour was led by Dalisay Moya, the provincial agriculturist who has been visiting the farm in the past several years.

The participants were particularly interested in the plants they saw, many of them seeing such varieties for the first time.

Easily one that attracted the visitors was the fruiting Abiu from Brazil. Unfortunately, there were just a very few fruits that were ripe and available for tasting.

Other crops that interested them were the ever-bearing BR25 cacao from Brazil, the orange with variegated leaves and fruits, the Japanese orange fruiting in a medium container, the Paniyur black pepper from India, latexless jackfruit from Malaysia, Vietnam pummelo in containers as well as in the ground, Mama Sita banana and others.
