A group of agribusiness executives will be attending the SIMA Asean Agribusiness Show that will be held in Bangkok on June 6-8, 2018, it was announced by Eugene Gabriel, president of Right Agri based in Isabela province.
He and members of the Right Agri board of directors will be looking for new machinery and equipment that can be used in mechanizing rice and corn production, processing of farm wastes into livestock feed and other value-added products.
Of special interest are dairy tools and equipment because the company has contracted the management of a dairy farm in a state university. They will develop the dairy farm as a viable enterprise that will also serve as a training ground for agriculture students as well as private individuals on dairying technology. They will also be looking for shredders and baling equipment for rice straw and corn stovers.
Also joining the Gabriel group is Novatech Food Industries headed by Dr. Ronaldo Sumaoang, a microbiologist who is into food products like chilli vinegar and fish sauce which are supplied to the country’s biggest supermarket chain. Dr. Sumaoang said he is particularly interested in bottle-filling equipment for fish sauce and vinegar as well as improved packaging technologies. Aside from food products, Novatech is into production of organic fertilizers, probiotic products for livestock and poultry, commercial sheep production, and Large Black Pig multiplication.
