A delegation from the Philippines headed by the president of Right Agri, a distributor of farm machinery and other technologies based in Isabela, will attend the 4th SIMA Asean Agribusiness show that will be held in Bangkok on June 6-8, 2018.

Eugene Gabriel, Right Agri president, said he is very interested in knowing the latest developments in rice and corn harvesting machines that could perform threshing and baling the straw in rice, also in gathering and shredding of corn stover that could be converted into nutritious livestock feed. Gabriel said that his group and a technologist partner are developing a TMR (Total Mix Ration) that is affordable and nutritious for feeding large and small ruminants.

He and his group are also interested in knowing the latest developments in small machines and equipment that are appropriate for use by small-holder farmers. Mechanized harvesting of rootcrops like cassava and sweet potato are also in their agenda.
