The Association of Rabbit Meat Producers, Inc. (ARaMP, Inc.) holds its induction of officers and members on October 3, 2015.  The well attended event was held at the association’s principal address, located at AVEN Nature’s Farm at 68 J.P. Rizal St., Sta. Barbara, Baliuag, Bulacan.

The general membership took its oath to uphold the mission/vision of the association and to work for the achievement of the goals of the association, as follows:
1.    To establish an organization that will promote the development of the Rabbit Industry in the Philippines;
2.    To advocate raising rabbits as an alternative meat to improve nutrition of the Filipinos;
3.    To introduce and propagate rabbit farming as an additional source of income to farmers and communities;
4.    To strive for the adoption of legislations, policies and other measures that will promote the rabbit industry as well as promote the economic, social and general well-being of all the members
.
The officers are as follows:
•    President and Chairman of the Board – Artemio Veneracion, Jr.
•    Vice President  –  Ron Pineda
•    Secretary  –  Margaret Balonglong
•    Treasurer  –  Emelito Verde
•    Auditor –  Elisa Ang
•    Board of Directors:  Denrick Alcaraz, Manny Andaya, Joel Mantos, Michael Gonzales
They swore to administer their duties to the best of their abilities, towards the pursuit of the association’s purpose to establish the pioneering Rabbit Industry.

Pillars from the Philippine Agriculture Sector:  Mr. Zac B. Sarian, Agriculture Editor of Manila Bulletin;  Former Pampanga Governor Among Ed Panlilio of Eden Farm, Bacolor, Pampanga;  John G. Enriquez  of Maunlad na Magsasaka, 702 DZAS sent inspirational and congratulatory messages.

Baliuag, Bulacan local officials attended the event and gave their messages of support.  They are:  Sta. Barbara, Baliuag, Bulacan Brgy. Chairman  –  Cesar Chico;  Baliuag, Bulacan Municipal Councilor  –  Madette Quimpo;  Baliuag, Bulacan ENRO officer – Edgar Luna, represented and read the message of Mayor Carol Dellosa of the Municipality of Baliuag.

Department of Agriculture retired Undersecretary Edmund Sana was on hand to give his message of support .  He became a member of the association and took his oath together with the general membership.

The association members are enthusiastic and surely efforts will be “Geared Towards the Growth of the Rabbit Industry.”
