The graduates participated in a season-long dual training that included lectures and hands-on training in a demo farm. Aside from learning how to produce high-value vegetables, seminars on basic accounting and marketing were also conducted by program partners for the participants.

SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Farmers’ Training Program has been conducting similar trainings in other parts of the country since five years ago. Upper photo shows the graduates and their bountiful harvest of vegetables and other high-value crops like melons and watermelons.
