Support for Dragon Fruit

THIS is a concrete support for dragon fruit that we saw in the farm of Pol Rubia in Candelaria, Quezon. A circular structure at the top is made of small pipes. You might want to copy this for your own dragon fruit plants. It is something very practical.

  1. This DF support looks good. But I am currently trying the Israel type of trellising and it seems to work for me and very economical compared to the individual posts which is very expensive. The Israel type is just posts at each end of the row connected with GI wires where the growing DF is tied as it climbs to the top. The end result is like a Dragon Fruit fence when the DF are matured and fruiting. Your writer Tony Rodriguez saw this when he visited my farm in Bulacan recently.
