Typhoon Glenda Blows Away ‘COCOLISAP’

Our friend PAT DUGAN who has a farm in Rosario, Batangas, emailed us on July 31. 2014 telling us that it looks like Typhoon Glenda blew away all the Cocolisap and the mealy bugs that were infesting their eggplant and cucumbers. His grandson has also noticed near his house in Los Baรฑos that the insects were nowhere to be seen.

Of course, Cocolisap is the new name coined for the pesky Coconut Scale Insect that has devastated coconut plantations in Batangas, Laguna and now spreading to Quezon province.
