The eggplant that we are showing is some kind of a curiosity. It is exceptionally long, easily 18 inches long. We are not sure if it is suitable for commercial production because the fruits could touch the ground which is no good. Maybe, if the plant is indeterminate and it will grow very tall, there would be less problem. Packaging and transport might be a little problematic though. Anyway, we are posting it just to show our followers that there is such an exceptionally long eggplant fruit. We encountered this one at the exhibit of various eggplant varieties at the headquarters of Known-You Seed Company in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
