We are really very excited about the large tender leaves of a saluyot cultivar that is claimed to be the best selection from Japan. We planted the seeds in our farm, and we were really amazed at the big leaves. They are more than two times the size of the ordinary variety growing also in our farm in Teresa, Rizal.

We harvested some of the tops and cooked adobo style together with lots of garlic, eggplant, okra, sweet finger pepper and bagnet. Really delicious.

Some of the plants are already starting to flower. We will produce seeds for planting. A lady entrepreneur says she wants to grow this in commercial volume.
