YOUNG REYES SISTERS: Spotted At The Urban Agriculture Trade Show

Two young sisters enjoyed their visit to the Urban Agriculture trade show organized by Agriculture Magazine at the Rockwell Tent in Makati City. They are Sofia and Bea Reyes of Angeles City in Pampanga. They were brought by their parents, Ric of East-West Seed and his wife Dines.
More parents should bring with them their children to agricultural events so they will learn about the importance of farming and gardening.

Pomelos and other citrus varieties are highly suitable for planting in rubberized containers. Also suitable are varieties of imported makopa, lemons and limes, pomegranate, balimbing, atis, guava and many others. Planting fruit trees in containers is recommended for urban areas where space is usually limited. Vacant lats in subdivisions can be used for such purpose while the lots are not yet used for constructing homes.
