Zac B. Sarian To Talk On Agri Strategies At Ägri Talk Forum, August 16, 2017, 3 p.m.

TAINAN, Taiwan (June 15) – Your blogger, Zac B. Sarian, will talk on winning strategies in agriculture at the Agri Talk Forum at 3 p.m. on June 16 at the Department of Agriculture. The forum is under the auspices of the DA and Agriculture Magazine and is open free to the public.

We are currently in Taiwan but will arrive in time for the forum in the afternoon of Friday. We will also give an update on bright ideas in Taiwan leisure farms which we visited upon the invitation of the Taiwan Leisure Farm Development Association.

Drastically pruned mango trees are barely 5 to 6 feet tall but are very fruitful. Visited by Zac B. Sarian.
In Taiwan, we visited the Dakeng Leisure Farm in Tainan, also a mango plantation planted to a new variety that is under drastic pruning. The trees are barely five to six feet tall but they are very productive. We also visited a guava farm with 16 varieties of guavas that include the Golden Guava, Perfune Guava, Passion Fruit Guava, Yam Violet Guava and others.
